Ray Barlin Award – Rules

The Sixth National Ray Barlin Competition is now open for entries.

Who and What

  • The photographer must be aged under 25 at entry closing date. i.e. photographer must have been born on or after 25 August 1983.
  • Previous winners are not eligible to enter.
  • Enter up to 3 unmounted prints having a maximum size of 20x30cm.
  • The category is OPEN and prints can be Colour or Monochrome.

  • Prints will only be returned if postage and self addressed packing are included with the entry.
  • An entry form is not required, but you must include on the reverse of each image your
    • postal address
    • email address
    • phone number
    • date of birth

When

  • Closing date is 5pm Monday 25 August 2007.

Judging

  • All entries will be judged by Fellows of the Photographic Society of New Zealand.
  • Winners will be notified by mail and announced in The Photographer’s Mail and D‑Photo November issue 2008.

Reproduction

  • Photographer retains copyright.
  • Entry implies permission to reproduce winning entry without fee and for purposes of competition promotions with photographer retaining copyright.
