Ilford Shield - Rules
This competition is open to fulltime secondary school students throughout New Zealand. Each entrant may submit two prints in each of the following classes:
- Class A - Open
- Any subject Black and white only
- Class B - Creative Effects
- Black and white only
- Class C - Digital
- Any subject Colour or Black and white.
Top School Awards
The Ilford Shield is awarded to the school with the highest number of points across all classes (A, B and C). The school must have at least 5 pupils entered. The winning school will hold the Shield for one year.
Individual Awards
The winners of each class, second place winners and the best nine Honours prints all receive prizes.
Len Casbolt Memorial Trophy
This trophy is awarded to the Champion Print and will be held by the winner for one year. In addition, there a prize is also awarded.
